SHIPPING POLICY

Shipping rates

Customers are responsible for all shipping costs. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.

Standard shipping rates:

  • Domestic (Australia): $20.00 flat rate for most items in Metro areas.
  • International: $15.00 flat rate for most items other than sewing machines.

Delivery timeframes

 Australia: 7–21 business days after dispatch

 International: 14–30 business days after dispatch

Delivery time

  • Metro areas: 3-7 business days
  • Regional areas: 5-10 business days
  • Remote areas: 7-14 business days
  • International: 10-21 business days (varies by destination)

Tracking

All orders include tracking. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships.

Delivery method

Most orders are delivered using "authority to leave" delivery, meaning parcels may be left in a safe location without signature.

For secure delivery, we recommend:

  • Using an Australia Post Parcel Locker address (free service)
  • Adding delivery instructions at checkout (e.g., "Leave with building concierge")
  • Requesting signature-required delivery (additional fee may apply - contact us)

Apartment/unit deliveries

If you live in an apartment or unit building, parcels may be left at the building entrance or with building management. For added security, we strongly recommend using a parcel locker address.

Delivery responsibility

Once tracking shows "delivered," the parcel is considered received. We are not responsible for parcels stolen after delivery. We recommend using parcel lockers for secure delivery.

Lost or missing parcels

If tracking shows your parcel as delivered but you have not received it:

  1. Check with neighbors, building management, or household members
  2. Check common delivery locations (mailroom, building entrance, safe spots)
  3. Wait 24 hours (sometimes tracking updates before actual delivery)
  4. Contact us at sales@secureonlinesales.com.au with your order number

If tracking shows delivery with valid proof, we cannot be held responsible for theft or loss after delivery.

Damaged in transit

If your parcel arrives damaged, please:

  1. Take photos of the damaged packaging and product
  2. Contact us immediately at sales@secureonlinesales.com.au
  3. Do not discard packaging - we may need it for freight claims

We will arrange replacement or refund for items damaged in transit.

Sewing Machines & Overlockers — Freight Notice

  • Standard freight of $20.00 applies to all sewing machine and overlocker orders within Australia.
  • For customers outside metropolitan areas (regional WA, NT, TAS, remote QLD, NSW, VIC), additional freight charges may apply depending on your location and the size of the machine.
  • We will contact you by phone to confirm the total freight cost before dispatching your order.
  • If the additional freight is not acceptable, a full refund will be provided.
